U need switch keyboard/gamepad each "back to menu" and when you see "loading" in the corner on black background, press enter
sounds stupid but it works, when I tried it it worked for me the first time and after 3 minutes the other time but works. done first mission right now

After a whole ton of tinkering, the solution for me was just to try to launch missions until it worked. No options changing, no port forwarding, no adapter disabling, nothing. Just keep trying. Has not taken me more than five attempts to launch a mission, and once there is a success, you can launch as many missions as you'd like until you end the program again. On average the second or third try is successful for me.
I realize this post is over a year old, but who knows, maybe someone else will find this helpful.
For clarity: Launch mission -> kicked back to menu during mission opening cutscene -> Try again -> Repeat until you see the "skip" prompt appear, which means you can now play as long as you'd like.
