Pipe smoking guy from the dreams.

During dream sequences there was this shadow of a guy, sitting in various places always smoking a pipe.
Any ideas who he was?

I'm trying to locate him in the second dream sequence, havent had any luck though.

If by second you mean the actual second (first proper one after you go beat up lamps with a bat) he is in the bottom right corner. No pipe, though. I've been trying to figure out what, it anything, can be done to interact with him.
Can't find him anywhere in the second music dream. :(
He is suspiciously like the dude in the Echoes achievement graphic.

Considering all the talk of stargazing and the fact that Mae's dream comes some time after finding an arm just lying around, it'd make sense for her to dream up parts of the story.

That's the SINGER for the "Howling Hollowers" the 2 band players speak of. They mention a group 4 instrumentalists froze in the woods, but no singer. However on the same day Selma talks about Karaoke, and Angus talks about his voice being raspy like smoker after singing Pumpkin Head Guy all on the same day. At one point in the game the fisherman in the tunnel talks about singing to the fish (astral fish is the dream to follow). I believe the shadow figure is the vocalist who chose not play for the gods, unlike the 4 instrumentalists. Perhaps he was a follower of Black Goat seeing that a Black Goat wanted to "drain the ocean" to hear the fish sing.
