Player speed extremely low
When I play this game, my speed is super low. It takes Mae forever to walk across town, and in the scene where you climb the hill with Angus, even though he's supposed to be slow, he's twice as fast as I am running at full speed. In the dream sequnces it's unbearably slow, if I get lost a bit it will take me at least 35 minutes to complete a dream. I'm almost finished with the game, but is there anyway I can fix this? (I am playing on Linux)

Sounds like a problem with input device. Is the game running smoothly ( 60 fps )? Are you playing on a controller or keyboard? Try to change to a different way to control the game or see your input's driver. I think that it's because the OS isn't taking the controls properly, so when you hold down a direction to run, the game thought that you were spamming the button continuously, thus the character moved slowly.

the game runs other wise completely smoothly. I am playing on keyboard. I tried turning off key repeats but that didnt help.

Rebind the keys in settings to see if that helps. If it doesn't work, can you go a bit more specific about how slow the character runs? Maybe record the game and post it here so i can identify the error.
