*spoiler* can't get out of the mineshaft?
i'm getting close to the end of the game but i've run into a problem that i don't think many people are having. at the part in the mines right after you run into the cult and they tell you all that ~exposition~ there's the area with the vent that you're supposed to jump out of, but the only way to do this is if mae can run. everyone else i've seen has gotten out with no problem, but i just can't get to the third platform. i've tried restarting the game but nothing has worked and i think i'm one of the only people to have this problem. help is appreciated, i wanna beat this game!

You don't have to run, you can do it with all normal jumps.

They took out running in the mineshaft in the Weird Autumn update, but you still can jump to each platform. Try jumping from the very edge of each platform. If it helps, test and see the furthest point at which you can stand on a platform before falling off the edge.

I have the same problem! My friend had no problem in his game, but i can't do it. I jump from the very edge and nothing. Mae hits the 3rd platform but goes right throught it.

ugh, same problem here, mae can hit the third platform fine but just falls through!

I hope you aren't pressing the down key when you jump because thats what usually causes you to go down from a platform, if not I wish I could help you!

Hey, press space down when you jump, you stay in the air longer.

This. The game doesn't tell you I think, but if you press instead of tap, you can make it. Thank you.

This...doesn't help. Mae hits the middle of the platform and thus falls down. IDK why it was marked as the best answer.
