i'm replaying nitw to get more achievements and man i really love this night in the woods but GOD demontower is bad. all the artificial difficulty is making it legitimately unenjoyable to play. IF team i love ya but please stick to story-based games.

still going for the achievement though

Demontower can be like that! Personally, I was a pretty big fan of the game, but it IS very difficult. Just keep at it. Once you get the hang of it there's a solid chance you'll start having a good time!
(There may also be some guides on it in this community too!)

Wanted to write long post about my love to Demontower, but naaaaaaah, not worth it. IMO Demontower is one of the highlights of the game, look guides, practise, blablabla, you'll get your achieve eventually

I agree. Not to say, I found demon tower easy,but I have been able to earn both achivements for it. I still haven't gotten the achivement for being somewhat decent at playing bass.

I love DemonTower. If you really want the achievements but DemonTower stresses you out, send me a copy of your save file and I'll beat it for you. I'm serious. I'll leave the final boss to you and tell you the secret ending combo so you can earn both achievements. If you've already played a lot of DemonTower, the final boss should be relatively easy to defeat.

honestly at this point i'm so frustrated with this game that i'd be down with that if you really want to. i'm on level 8 at the moment so not too far from the end, but i'm just real done with it. i've already got the secret ending combo written down though so no need to do that for me.

Demontower is not sooooooo hard. Many enemies kill themselves (or another enemies), many boss tactics is very easy, as dark souls stereotypes say: "hit and run". Even final boss isn`t hard. I had no more than 10 attempts to beat him. For me, 7`th level was the hardest because of boss, but also no more than 10 retries. So... everything is possible, good luck!

For anyone else that finds this thread, here's some tips that got me through it:
- You can dash through projectiles to cancel them. Things get extremely difficult if you don't know this.
- Change the controls to something more comfortable.

After finding this out, I went from being stuck on stage 8 forever, to easily speedrunning the whole game in minutes.

I would totally do that for you if I knew how that worked. How would I beat it for you?

I had to practice a lot but now I can beat it quite easily.

I found it to be really disapointing in the control aspects, it is really bad using the analog stick, all the time the player turn the other way when attacking, plus large groups of enemies that dash and throw knives are really ♥♥♥♥♥
