Spoilers! Garbo and Malloy "Up next" evidence?
Did they join the cult? Because they literally say "up next! Garbo and I join a cult!"

probably just a little easter egg for you to rememeber when u finish the game and just wonder if they did join the cult

I think it's more just a joke meant to keep the idea of cults in the back of your mind for when the reveal happens. Something like foreshadowing. Like how Gregg and Mae's "too bad you didnt ___" at the start has them talk about getting killed by a murdercult
