Dear gamers, let's discuss the situation about the state of the developers

And i will start with copy/paste of my review.

I love this game and it is definitely one of my favorites of all time and shaped my life significantly.
Initially my review was positive and overwhelmed by emotions, but after the incident with Alec Holowka i have some things to say.

So, Alec Holowka, composer and coder of the game "r a p e d" Zoe Quinn. Right. There is no proof, only some nonsense hysteria by the latter. If your read what she said in sober mind you'll find how nonsensical it is. So after some years after it happened, Alec gained popularity and she decided to say how "bad" he was. Riiight. She didn't come to police to say that he was a predator-raper, that he didn't allow her to talk to anyone and even leave the house. Riiiiight...

So... what did Alec's friends and co-developers of the great game did? Helped him with the situation? Yeaaa... no. They just decided to betray him and throw away like trash. And all that just because some girl just said some things without any evidence. They didn't even wait for some legal accusations and any court trials. Nice friends i must admit.

SO... it might be early, but you might think that public will react accordingly, that they will see filthy lies and won't support what developers did? Yeaaa... NO! If you'll read their twitter and other social media there is overwhelmingly lots of people who say that they did the right thing. Yeah... Did you even play the game, or even know people who did it, or even READ what the whole situation is all about? Or did you just see the word "r a p e" and started to blame the "raper"? Hello! That Zoe Quinn, as stated by one of her boyriends, slept with journalists just to get positive reviews for her game, just sayin'.

Conclusion. The company's current project is cancelled. There will be no physical copy of the game. Career of a nice guy is ruined. Way to go!

I hope some popular sane people will understand what the whole situation is about and won't let injustice to thrive. And also for a record there is my old review:

It is so awesome. The characters, the story, the atmosphere, the music, the art style... IT IS SO AWESOME!
An unforgetable expirience! Totally worth every dollar!

how about no, let the court process go through and keep this out of the steam discussions. there are a dozen other internet forums specifically to talk about this kind of stuff, this isn't one of them.

Answer this question: If your sister, mom, cousin, aunt, or anyone close to you claimed to have been assaulted, would you sit there and question them, ask them where the proof, legal evidence is, and tell them to take it to court.

Doubtful, you'd probably be shocked, angry, frustrated, and then try to come to some solution. I get you're trying to frame it like he's popular or something so accusing him of assault is going to some how bring her success....

But you fail to acknowledge the part where a lot of these accusers get harassed, called liars, get looked down upon, and more online. So to think someone would willingly want to expose themselves to that is silly.

If what he did is legit, regardless of proof I hope he gets the book and he should be held accountable for his actions, but if it's not true then shame on her for lying.

Sexual Harassment Allegations

In March of 2014, Zoe Quinn attended the wedding of Phil Fish. Though the implications of this would not become clear until much later, when GamerGate was in full-swing, this would be chronologically the first event in which Zoe Quinn's influence and tendencies would be on full display. On August 17th, 2014, Wolfgang Wozniak, the head of the development company Wolfgame accused Zoe Quinn of sexually harassing him at said wedding

The response to such an accusation was surreal - Phil Fish immediately disavowed any knowledge of Wozniak's presence and claimed he was an unwelcome guest - despite photographic evidence that he was at said party as part of Fish's circle of friends. Said circle of friends immediately turned on Wozniak, immediately liking the post (including Robin Arnott, and indeed, Zoe Quinn herself). Alex Lifschitz immediately went on the offensive, immediately accusing Wozniak of collusion with Eron Gjoni and the burgeoning scandal that was the Zoe Post. Virtually the entire clique turned on Wozniak overnight, giving onlookers the first taste of what was to come in the scandal to follow.
The harassment received was such that Wozniak deleted all tweets critical of Quinn and indeed, discussing this ugly exchange, but not before several recorded the event in screenshot format. It was also recorded in Soonafter, the various tweets that called him out for daring to bring it up Ironically, Wozniak had inadvertently lent truth to the claims made by Eron Gjoni (that Quinn had been romantically involved with a huge number of people in her circle of friends that she was cozying up to for attention and influence). This incident would be the first taste of Quinn working with her affiliates to silence criticism of her, the very thing that would lead to GamerGate.

Yeah, that's why she waited so long to finally tell it. And also she didn't tell it to her parents when she actually was in danger and got "r a p e d"

Well if people hate women or againts victims, they should go see a doctor. There is nothing else that can help them think otherwise. But there should be lots of scepticism when someone calls an influential person a ra per.
