Night in the woods not working...

I opened Night in the woods(multiple times), re downloaded it once and have now waited a night with my CPU not falling asleep with it open. Throughout all of this, I'm stuck on the Title page. Y'know, the part where it says "Night in the Woods IF". None of the options are loading, even after the many hours, but I know it's playing cuz the leaves surrounding the screen still move and the music works fine. SO yeah... If anyone can help I appreciate it alot

So like, it's the title screen, but none of the menu options appear?

yup! Its the title scrteen with no "start game" or anything. I'm aware you use 'C, x, z, f, and space' to control the game, the options just aren't there :/

AFK'd foir 11 hours now. Haven't seen anything. song stoppped a while ago but leaf animations continue :/

perhaps try taking a screenshot of the screen and sending it to InfiniteAmmoDev on twitter? He's the coder for the game.

Ok... there's really not much to see though. It looks excactly like anyone that I've watched, like Jackscepticeye but it's missing the options at the bottom corner.

My screen had the options on them but the were not clickable, enterable, or otherwise accessible.

uh didja try using c, x, z, or space? try every key.

Nothing works. I messaged the dev on Twiiter. No response.

here's a few things that might work for you:

1. Uninstall and reinstall
2. Make sure that you use every key on your keyboard
3. Try letting it load for a little
4. Last option, just return the game. Buy Ori and the Blind Forest. One of my favourite games, but hey it's your choice entirely

I did return it until the devs can give me some assurance I can play it. It's too bad, I really want to play it. Others have had this problem. They haven't addressed it anywhere I've seen.
