No cursor in Menu Screen
Just bought the game for the first time. I have no player.dat file to corrupt. And I have no cursor on my menu screen. Can't even get it started

This game is like that, you'll have to use WASD, arrow keys, and X, C, V to select various options. WASD (or arrows) and pressing C to select will get you started. Also make sure that the game screen is selecting if you're using those and still can't select anything (sometimes with Steam when I ALT + TAB the game window becomes unselected). Happy Gaming!
