A little early to bring this up, don't you think?

probably would take another kickstarter

Hope it gets another game, too bad undertale hasn't got one. I'd die for both!

Id kickstart the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.
I would be game for DLC or more "supplements" like they've put out before, but I don't think that will happen. I don't think a direct sequel would be the best way to add to this game, but I would totally play a different game in the same universe.

By the way, if you haven't played the free supplements "Longest Night" and "Lost Constellation", you may want to check those out.

They are definitely making another supplemental, coming out this year. But it's for Kickstarter Backers of a significent tier. Presumably sometime later it will be released to the public, but there is nothing firmly announced on that front.

The Kickstarted received over 4x the amount the developers asked for. In addition, they probably got a lot of money just from people buying the game. I doubt another Kickstarter would be necessary

idk but think it would lose it appeal bcause its a intense and concentrated game, and extending it might be like MEH, but i would love some kind of spin off or dlc
By the way, anyone knows if there is steam workshop for nitw?? I ve search for it but nothin appears

There is no steam workshop, and I don't even understand how that'd work. Sequels and Prequels are only bad if made bad. Take Halo, the sequel no.2 was good, and the one after that, reach was arguably good yet bad was a mixed bag, and 4+ were atrocious. Reason? Cause the devs knew what they were doing with 1 2 and 3 and made them decent, 4 felt rushed an 5 feels nothin like halo. I'd love another Nitw's where I can play as Mae, perhaps a sequel that continues based off of your last games save kinda like the walking dead or it could allow you to choose the events of the last game in a quick menu. Kinda like the begging of this one "In the year grandad died *Choice*" could be done like that, or even a prequel where we can meet casey an find out more about casey and other characters, perhaps see this mall incident involving those two girls and the nosering. Or even see the incident of when mae put that kid in hospital. There is still tonnes of potential, but if this is like Undertale in the sense of it's ending, we may never see another night in the woods.

In terms of a sequel i could imagine a few even relating to the stuff Mae experienced/caused without really ever involving them, such as the remaining members of the cult or the slow collapse of towns or people living in Bright Harbor or the city Mae's college was in after/during/before Mae went there, and these are general ideas in less than a few minutes, not counting possible games that take place in a fairy tale or back near the days of the Unions

undertale has a sequel on Gamejolt, it even syncs with your save data and has The Creator's blessing and approval to be a canon thing.
go check it out.
