Reason there won't be a sequel.

I'm afraid to say that I did some research last night on this game, and apparently the voice actor for Mae died. There won't be a sequel now.

Edit: For the ones who are wondering, there is no voice actor. This a joke. Ha ha. Like the whole no Half Life 3 because of gordon freemans voice actor.

No, the font file used in Mae's dialogue (and everyone in Possum Kingdom) corrupted and died. That's why we're not getting sequel.

Spoliers
the real reason there won't be a sequel because
possum springs lost all there fundings because mae and her friends killed all the miners
Edit: I don't know how to make black bars

Unless the cult members each jumped into the hole as they were doomed anyway?

Edit: This would make sense as the town all of a sudden gets a taco place showing that business may be blooming in the town again

I guess it actually meant the cult thought they were helping but along the town was just in bad luck before
