Buildings near snack falcon

How do you get atop the buildings near the snack falcon, I can never seem to make the jump, but, It has to be possible since there is some kind of interactable sound that plays when i try to make the jump.

at some point in the game , you can use the door to the right of the snack falcon to go inside the apartment building, and when inside go to the right and take an eleavtor to the roof

edit: as a side note do the mini windmills actualy do anything? I got 3 of them to release little boxes but not sure if it matters

I believe you have to collect/activate all of them (there are 4 or 5 all together, I suppose) to get a special achievement for it. Personally, have never succeded in getting to the one on the Click Clack roof, though. Tough one.

If anyone has any useful tips how to reach it (yeah, I know I have to jump from the roof), please, share.

if you find all 4, you get extra dialogue if you choose to go with Angus up to the Campgrounds.

to reach it, go to the right, jump up on the wire, and go left, drop down onto the light itself, and jump to the left. there;s another thread here with details on it, and a video showing it.
