Is there any way to select a chapter?
I just completed the game and I feel really compelled to get more achievements. I completed Gregg's storyline (by accident as I was hanging out with both Bea and Gregg) And I wanted to complete some of the achievements as they seem rather fun. But I just checked my hours and it takes 10 hours to complete the main story let alone stop for achievements, and I can't imagine messing up the second song or something and having to go ALL the way back just to complete it. So can I select chapters or do I actually have to do everything over again?

no, you cant choose a chapter. what you CAN do is copy your player.dat and keep a folder of em from various spots in the game. make sure to label em though. there are achievements that pretty much will require a second playthrough though.

Yeah, this is my biggest problem with the game now that I've finished it - there's no way to replay certain parts or go back to get the achievements, without starting all over.

As much as I loved the game, not sure I'd want to play from the very beginning just to have a chance to play the song games again.

And all the cool little minigames - like smashing the light tubes, knife fight and so on, I'd really like to play those again.

I wish the game had saves for each started day/major scene change, that would be awesome.

It's a story driven game, being able to save and reload whenever would ruin the flow of the game.
If you can't be arsed to replay the game for an achievement, then you prolly dont deserve one. Hr hr hr.

What about Telltale games where you can select any episode you want even if you've done them to choose different paths and see how things are different in the long run without having to go through the tedious buildup of the first half again

You can always rush through the content you've seen already. Switch scrolling text off. Not talk to people you don't need to talk to.
Those things are called achievements cause you ACHIEVE something, right?
