I THINK that's the point? To kinda force the idea that you're not good at bass, much less songs you don't know. Still, I feel like if I have any gripe with the game, it's those band practice minigames. lol
i just messed up so much because i moved my hands over one too many every time so i was using 2345 and not 1234
Bass Ackwards and Maestro
So I'm assuming one is for getting one song right and the latter for getting them all right. Whoof.

As far as I can tell, you just need to play all three at okay level. Though even that's pretty hard for the third one, admittedly. The way I did it was by focusing on getting just two strings right (2 and 3) during that stupidly complex part. Which was enough to get an okay score.
And the Bass Ackwards achievement seems to be for completely messing up all of them. So can't get both in one run.
