How long to beat ?
I would like some feedback on how many hours of gameplay are in this game.
Thank you upfront.

It's not a game to beat, but to enjoy. Best to go in blind.

Also interested how long is the game (because it looks like another 3 hours adventure game). First answer marked as off-topic.

Savor it, like a nicely done steak. Enjoy each bite and not in too big pieces. Goes well with a full bodied red.

The game has a lot of optional dialog and actions, as well as a full roguelite in it. It can last a long time, or probably not so long if you play it like a dummy.

Don't be that guy, "How to long to beat" is a common expresion (and the name of a popular website) that lets you know how long a game take to complete in a normal pace.

No sh*t , an indie game is not about beating but enjoying ? That defenately news to me (NOT).

I still want to know how much gameplay there is in this game, and since we can't count content in anything else but time-to-beat, I'd take that

I'm also curious. I've exhausted my funds for 3 hour games and I'd rather have an average 8 hour experience from time to time preferably from a story telling point of view.

I'm about 2 1/2 hours in and I'm still on Part 1... but I'm also really taking my time and exploring and "experiencing" the game, which, as has been pointed out, it's really one of those games where you should take your time. So it really just depends on your play style and level of wandering and mucking about.

Depends.

I'm at Part 2 (of ?) and it took about ~2 hours to get through part 1.

And I know I've missed stuff.

There's also apparently a full-size mini roguelike game in there as well, that probably takes a bit.

It really is the type of game where you might be able to rush it in 4 hours but doing it to 100% might take 8? We'll have to see once people start to actually finish it.

I was wondering about this too. Game looks cool, but there are expensive games out there that last only 2 or 3 hours. That's not necessarily a bad thing, I guess, but personally when I buy games I like them to last fairly long.

Been playing it for 4 hours, trying to do everything possible but i don't think i'am close to the ending...
Looks like there's multiple path to take too.

Well, maybe it's an idea to NOT ask how long a game takes to beat, the second it comes out

How are people meant to know how long it takes to beat? you made this thread in like 10 minutes of the games release lol

It took me 13 hours to finish the game. But it is really depends on how you will play it. You can just rush it or explore city each day, like I did. Hope they fixed achevements, will try to start a new game later to see all missed events at nights.
Abandon Reason Feb 23, 2017 @ 7:07am
took me 18 hours for 1st playthrough
Kerfluffle Feb 23, 2017 @ 1:52pm
Does it have multiple endings?
