Bass Ackwards didn't pop?

I played all three songs crappily, and I got all of the bad journal entries, but the achievement didn't pop... do you have to opt out of playing entirely? I played along a little but they always said it sucked.

The Bass Ackwards achievement is actually really hard to get unless you are purposely going for it. It's more than just playing bad, you have to miss almost all of the notes. The easiest way to get this achievement is to just let the songs play and don't press anything. In fact, you'll actually get a special dialogue at the end, because your friends will comment that you were just standing there and didn't do anything.
