I used to own this back on my old Wii, and played the multiplayer with my siblings a lot. The Store page on Steam says the game is SinglePlayer though, and I can't find anywhere saying definitively weather or not it has Multiplayer

A couple questions about the gameplay: 1. Complex levels? 2. Challenging/Annoying mechanics? 3. Game length? 4. Does it play on Windows 8?

I tried to run the game right after I downloaded it and that little black window that pops up saying Steam is preparing to run whatever game keeps popping up but it can't get past that point to actually running the game. Could somebody please tell me if there's a fix for this or not and what it is?...
