Save Multiplayer or co-op game The Settlers 7

I realy don't understand that people who just want to play friendly multiplayer or co-op Settler games with there friends still can't save the game. We are not interested to be ranked or whatever, we just wanna have fun playing together for a short period of time and start or quit when we want, without losing our game progress. We all have work, wives, family or children and can't afford to play more then a few hours at a time! Numerous discussions on all settler forums are full of this complaint, made by people who play and bought this game from the beginning. They (Ubisoft or Blue Byte) could have fixed this problem a long time ago by making it an option before u startup, if u want it to be a ranked game or not. As a result I refuse to buy a Ubisoft game ever again, untill they comply. I hope u all join me in this pact, so maybe finally they will listen to there long time customers who know whats best because we actually play the game and payed for it!

ive bought this game on its release date. i love the settlers. but cannot play it for this reason. i have friends who bought it for us all to play together, but we dont have time to play in a single sitting. my game is just collecting dust. ubisoft have had over £100 out of us and we cant play the game. 1 player was ok, but it wore off. i google this topic every couple of months to see if theyve updated it. Thanks for bringing it up in the steam forums. hopefully one day they'll sort it and actually have players playing online or lan. its a pathetic dissision to not have saves. and im not buying the idea that they cant do it for programming reasons.

I can confirm that no saving in multiplayer and that is a shame. I only bought this game for MP in the house and now it cannot be used.

Who has the time to play a full settlers game - in a single session?

I can understand the concerns over exploiting a save game, but if you are playing with frinds then thre is not a concern.
