Continuous wear and tear

At a point all of my modules started getting damage at once and I can't repair them fast enough and all of my research money went to the repair cost. What did I miss?

All modules suffer from wear and tear constantly - space is harsh! That said, usually, when all modules are getting damages there is an imbalance in your station. Have you built enough radiators? A lack of cooling really accelerates the deterioration of your modules. Also how much research have you going on vs. the size of your station?

For a long time none of my modules have got any damage and suddenly started all of them in once. If I repaired one half minutes later it was damaged again.
I had 3 small labs, 4 habs, 8 solar panels, 4 radiators,etc. For a long time everything was in balance (and there wasn't any damages), I managed all warnings and messages but it was like a continuous orbiting in a meteor field.
