So we wanted to write something today that wasn't just a patch note. So we opted for the regular update option because we wanted to make sure you see it.

We want to thank every single one of you who have supported us. Whether you were here from day 1 or just joined us after the 1.0 release almost a week ago, it has been amazing seeing the support and, above all, seeing you guys having fun with this silly game we created called Waterpark Simulator.

It's been great seeing your messages, your videos, your posts, but above all, your fun. Thanks for the support and faith you put in us.

We do try to reply to everyone, but even if we don't write, trust us, your messages, feedback, and reports are read.

OK, now that we did the emotional part, let's get down to the patch notes

We will, from this point on, be trying to do only 1 update per week (unless there is like an urgent issue ), so you don't need to have 4 updates per week as you had on this one. That and because the whole gang kinda needs to rest at some point.

• Fixed multiplayer issue with non-host not being able to place blobs

• Fixed holding multiple chlorine bottles causing multiple throw options

• Fixed an issue with floor tiles at the beach entrance not counting for a quest

• Fixed a missing collider in some 3-star pools.

• Removed a clipping issue from the Ocean Pool

• Duck slide painting now is persistant

• Improved FPS cap when using V-sync

• Increased the % of smelly visitors appearing when needed.

• Main menu should not be so graphically demanding if left running for some time

• Sauna now has a grace period to the next request if the previous one was successful

• Visitors can no longer drown 30 minutes before the park closes

• Added pop-up to explain how to use emotes in game

• Golden hammer is now more powerful than regular hammer

• Players can now ban other players from their multiplayer. This is valid for that game lobby only

• General settings set in the second computer for multiplayer are saved from one to the other

• Added painting and buying from Caymart settings to multiplayer host options

• Staff can now quit if they get bullied by a player in large amounts in a short period of time (you know what you are doing to your staff). ADDED SETTING TO DISABLE IT IN 1.0.48

• Staff, when quitting, will send a notification, add a red exclamation mark to their name, and be highlighted red.

• Mafia now can fight back when attacked during their event.

• Mafia wave times are more random in terms of when they come over to your park (if you offended them, you know what this means)

• Non-bad visitors have a low % of pushing back if pushed/attacked for a long time. ADDED SETTING TO DISABLE IT IN 1.0.48

• Added new trait, bad visitor. Saboteur. They come in holding a sledgehammer and unplug your pool if you don't stop them in time

As is typical after a big release, there is always a need for a large number of small fixes and changes based on your gameplay

We normally try to get the patch notes out as close to the update release, but it's been quite busy, so we had to focus more on the updates than the patch notes.

We also should start slowing down the number of these, but these involved some major game improvements or fixes that we deemed urgent.

There is still one issue we have seen happening a couple of times to some of you. It involves, after an update in some rare occasions, your install gets 1 file corrupted, not to the point of the game not launching, but enough to do stupid things like you open your park and it looks empty.

Luckily, it seems to be an easy and quick fix for you (players)

This rechecks all your game files and finds the one that got corrupted during the download and fixes it

We are currently working with Steam to figure out what is causing this.

• Paint gun now paints guests independently of which mode it is on (1.0.21)

• Solved a problem with dumpster collision with trash bags at a specific angle (1.0.21)

• Improved Mafia interaction so they will not ignore you (1.0.21)

• Solved some achievements that were not triggering on the correct places (lIke opening a beach park or using the zipline on the beach) (1.0.21)

• Water colliders now work better when trying to hit any staff no matter their height (1.0.30)

• Sandbox unlocks properly for all players (new and old saves) (1.0.30)

• Fixed a case where senior visitors might spawn without having gray hair (1.0.30)

• Fixed a VFX effect with Rain (1.0.30)

• Popcorn cup now has the right icon when held (1.0.30)

• Fixed some hand swapping animations (1.0.30)

• Better support for UI for ultra-wide screens (1.0.21)

• More reliable outlines on visitors for damage (1.0.21)

• Museum missions can now be all completed by staff too - no need to fire them or smack them out of the way :p (1.0.28)

• Wellness missions can now be fully completed by everyone in multiplayer (1.0.28)

• Added confirmation messages on quitting the game (no more accidental closing of game without saving) (1.0.28)

• Improved weather settings to remove the foggy look you guys mentioned. Vibrant colors are back again (1.0.28)

• Improved the player bubbles in the UI for multiplayer, and the host also gets one (1.0.28)

• Improved the permissions system for the multiplayer host on their second computer in the ticket booth, allowing them to set the settings to all players (build, destroy, hire staff, open park) (1.0.28)

• Throwing items is now considered PvP in multiplayer, so players can disable it (1.0.30)

• When joining another player park, players start with no sledgehammer, but with a hammer (1.0.30)

• First time in multiplayer, pop up to explain ticket booth PC settings (1.0.30)

• Damage multiplier is now the same for all difficulties (no more penalties for hitting a cheater) (1.0.30)

• Water cannon and zipline camera now respect the invert mouse if enabled (1.0.30)

• Improved the saving system to not break when players used some specific non-letter characters (1.0.30)

• Improved ragdoll recovery (1.0.30)
