Ubisoft service unavailable?

Upon start up any ideas? its been like this for about a month and Ubisoft customer support is well sh*t and, internet searches are turning up null.

wanting to get back into this game and alas... unavailable.

Which is a bummer because now I purchased an offline game that is unplayable due to Ubisoft's server being down

Yup I just purchased Silent Hunter V and got the exact same error just now when I try to load the game here on Steam. Steam directs you to Ubisoft which simple lists all the games that you can not play online now. No answer as to what to do from Ubisoft or Steam. Hey Steam what the heck is going on here? You have to do war better than this.

This issue appears to be down to an old incompatible version of the Uplay client, that was installed at the same time as the game. To remedy this, please download and install the latest Uplay client from the following website.

Yes, this is exactly what I did and explained in an earlier post. After downloading the new uplay client from the official Ubisoft link that I previously posted it solved my specific issue with the game.

This diden't work for me When I start installin it it says write error on disk(transelated from dutch )

My best guess would be to try this. Right click > Properties > Local Files > Verify File integrity
