I have already sunk 200000 tons of ships but it is not recorded in the map. Anyone with the same problem?

I did and I believe this fact has to do with the mission trigger which has to be ON. You see, there is a target area spot that you are to patrol for at least certain amount of time. It could be arround 24 hours or so to acomplish the sinking framework. I guess, that if it happens that you completed the patrol set time ahead of the sinking set amount, the trigger could then turn OFF. Then after it would not count the sunk Tons after. Please lets keep posting our findings for the benefit of the group since there are no achievments recorded by steam on this game.

i do still have issues.

Started new game over 20 times.
When i begin new mission i first do the patrol area and sink a ship there and after that i go sink 2 capital ships but its nog showing on th emap but it is in the captain log

I think its a bug in the game where the "destroyed marks" don't appear on the map. If you save and reload a game, it will wipe off the destroyed marks.

I found the same issue for the plotting marks and lines on the map, these are not saved as well.

yea i dont understand the subsim tutorial. i havent finished the first mission... i did however find a solution that increased the tonnage bar for a little while but then just suddenly stopped. i jus opened the game but minimized the screen so the game is still running....i then opened the task manager and set the silent hunter 5 priority to low. it increased my tonnage bar but only for a certain amount of time....i still havent completed british coastal waters.

I have the same problem, I found, sometimes it counts for some merchants and some times it doesn´t, belive has to do with the borderline set for the coastal waters. Lets keep on sharing our progress, to move on.
