completely broken, game can't start on windows 11 (FIXED)

I recently (today) bought this game, and every time I try to play the game, it is the intro in the top left corner of my screen, overlayed over my screen, not even existing as a tab, with no sound, and it just crashes after the intro. I looked online and tried literally every option I found, including validating files, changing the permissions of ubisoft connect, and deleting the files in the intro folders. most things online pertain to windows 10, but unfortunately I am past the 10 days where I can go back to windows 10 without completely losing all my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ files, and, well, there is NO WAY IN HELL I AM DOING THAT. If anyone else has any fixes they can share, I would love to hear them. Alright, I just went back to check what I did. so go to browse local files, in files search "sh5", right click the icon, click properties, go to compatability, go to "change high DPI settings" and check the second check box, click ok, and you should be good to go!

I updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and SH4 would load up and then not play. It would just disappear. I tried various suggestions that I found online and on the Steam forums. I even looked on Youtube for how to make old games play on Windows 11. You should search online and on Youtube for some ideas as well. However, I finally got SH4 to work! I uploaded the Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10. I followed the instructions for how to do that. I opened the game and it works great! I can't guarantee of course that will solve your issue, but it worked for me.
