HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY FINISHED THIS GAME?
I've stopped playing at this point due to it's absolute unplayability. Has anyone here reached the very final mission? If so, what's it like once you've completed all of the timelines?

Ive searched for it and found absolutely nothing.

I am sure some people did, but the game is from 2010 so they probably not active here anymore.
I never finish the game in stock, came close to it but did not.

If you want to fast forward to last timeline, use "silentotto" cheat to unlock all timelines. You can jump to the last one if you wish and see what happens.

Hello Harbinger. I've finished it. This game does not work as well as it should, but it's still a fun game. If you can't finish it yourself go to the main menu, click on start New Campaign. It will take you to a page where all the missions are graphed. While on that page type in "Silentotto" (Silent Otto, but all one word) and you will have access to ALL the missions.

You can "finish" if you are very patient. However, you will be playing the TIME factor, not the MISSION SUCCESS factor. As long as you play until the set date, you will move on to the next level. However, if you want to play ALL of the game, you will have to play it more than once, because some missions run concurrently, which means you won't have access with just one play through. At the conclusion of each mission, you will be given a choice where to go next and your "destiny" will be fixed. You can't be in two places at the same time, so you can't play the "Mediterreanean" missions at the same time as the American and Far North missions.

As far as I can tell, there is no "finale.' No patriotic cut-scene or anything like that at the end. The last mission, "The Black Pit." just ends. No fanfare.

I finished the game with The Wolves of Steel Megamod.
The ending was very Ubisoft like
****WARNING****
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!
DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU WISH TO NOT KNOW THE ENDING!

I was sailing around in my VIIC/41, the end of the war was nearing, I was monitoring the radio messages that were telling the Uboat force to ceasefire and surrender. Then, a screen popped up which would show once you exited the game or completed a campaign. Missions completed, tonnage, rating, status, it was all there. But at the status part, it said "The war has ended!" and I clicked continue, expecting a patrotic cut-sence which USS Midway veteran mentioned, but no. I just got a black screen with sound and a moveable cursor.
Very
VERY
Disappointing

It was still an excellent experience.
I have also completed SH3, which had also the same kind of ending.

Yeah, thats all.
