Already people with super decks

The game is like 3 days on steam and I played it already 15 hours orso, and still am no where near a good deck, but when I go online the players have always decks that are finished with all the cards they need for it... How is that possible so early in the game and with everyone except me??

you can actually find people online? i've tried ranked, unranked, sealed, draft, never found a duel yet. as for your question though, im told its pretty easy to cheat your DP with external sources. so they probably did that and just bought all the packs till they got everything.. or just played a hell of a lot and did the same

Well, in my case, I just use guides, specifically this one. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=814689673

So I just go through the campaigns (I only beat Classic and GX Campaigns. Recently started on 5Ds) to unlock the packs and obtain the DP. I just use my hard earned DP on the packs that a specific card I want is in rather than guess at where it might be and waste said DP....

I am quite jealous that you managed to find people for Multiplayer though....

Some of the DLC also contains decent decks that combos well.

it took me 30+ hours to make a completed cyber dragon infinity deck... a lot of us are hardcore yugioh players that you'll find on multiplayer, I have completed CDI, kozmo, graydle, majespecter, etc decks... you just need to know where your cards drop, and then get lots of vp through playing, and then buy up as many packs as you can! currently working on a 3rd beast king barbaros with over 4500 cards in the trunk, i could possibly make a full koa'ki meiru/dark world deck now too if I had the motivation XD.

almost dead but over 1.2k playing at this very second, thing is, most of us play in single player to collect vp and get cards, once my colleciton is allll the way complete then i'd probably play almost exclusively multiplayer, until then... mp gives barely any BP unless you're playing drafts, but when playing drafts/sealed you have to win, or you lose a ton of vp invested.

Played for 3 hours multiplayer, no problem. If you can't find any ranked matches then create a lobby yourself... and wait for people to join... simple.

Doesn't take me more than a couple of minutes before someone joins.

Ranked is ranked. Play singleplayer to learn or duel some other newbies like you. I'm sure if you post somewhere, you'd find friends quickly who are just like you, looking for people to play with.

Like in every long-running game, people know what they want. If you're new, I suggest going thought the story and playing around with different archetypes and summoning methods before going online. It's similar to me buying Street Fighter 5 and going online expecting to win, you gotto learn and practice.

If you read this forum, you'll see that there is a card list and getting cards is not super hard. Even if they are not using online lists, people with experience know what they want. I, for example, don't have the game yet, but I already have my "default" deck (Lightsworns) list ready and I know what DLC I need for it. I anticipate to get it within the first day-two of playing, so I can ride it and grind with it for a while.

That's fine. I asked what is your "self made deck"? Like a... An Archetype? A play style? A strategy?

Took me a while to get use to as well but I'm getting there. If you want you can add me and we'll have practice rounds! I spent alot of time building decks and versing randoms or friends to see if it works, the game takes time to learn even if you are amazing at other card games.
