Yugi vs. Weevil

I've completed the reverse duel with my own deck but is it even possible to beat Yugi with Weevil's deck, his cards are just so bad

Sure, it's possible if Yugi gets completely dead draws while you draw into Weevil's ultimate, regional-winning combo of Basic Insect + Laser Cannon (I don't even remember if that's in his deck). Quite a few of these story deck duels follow that same theme of "hope they don't draw anything playable".

Your first mistake was even considering the decks the characters use.

I actually did it the way Quagora said. It became a little bit tedious but it felt satisfying to beat Yugi with the weakest possible combo.

Some of the story decks are so weak, you really wonder how they managed to win in the series... the worst for me was against the Illegal Exodia deck, I needed like 35 tries or so to finally win!

The rules were practicallly nonexistent in the first series

What I never understood in that duel is why did Kaiba revive the (useless) head of BEUD instead of Mystical Jinn?
