Why Quaking Mirror Force instead of the normal one?
Many (decent) players run Quaking Mirror Force instead of the normal one. I know that some monsters have their terrifying effects when they are "destroyed," and many of them activate their effects in the graveyard. I'd guess that's probably one of the reasons to avoid using normal Mirror Force. Quaking Mirror Force puts those monsters into face down, and they can't switch battle positions, so it helps clutter the opponent's field. But, don't you still have to go through those monsters in order to deal damage to the opponent's life point? Besides, you still have to "destroy" them in battle to hurt your opponent. So, what's the point of Quaking Mirror Force? What am I missing?

Blocking up large portions of the battlefield makes it very easy to set up on your opponent then go for the OTK. Mirror Force simply wipes the board.

many monsters can't be destroyed by battle or card effect (majespecters entire gimmick) guess what? face down they can be targeted AND destroyed, quaking also clogs up their field so they can't synchro/if they aren't running a tribute deck and attack with a full field may as well be gg for you as you build up you forces.
