DLC story additions?

So checking the DLC I see they do not just add decks but also some story.
I do not really care for the decks, as I am pretty awful with most structure decks and tend to brute force my decks with lots of old favourites.
But I am concerned what I may be missing on the campaign side of things. For instance the Duelist Kingdom DLC seems to add all Joey's battles to the game? Whilst I am awful with his decks that is not something I would want to miss out on. Or does it only say add one of the battles?
Has anyone gotten any of the DLC? How much was added storywise?

depends on the story, the arc-v ones just add one battle + reverse battle, the duelist kingdom one adds quite a few, gx leaders adds 2, the joey and yugi's journey add some key orichalcos fights... really, the main reason you wanna get them is to add to your card pool though, it's really fun to mix this stuff with what you know and love, such as putting kozmos with pretty much any deck ever to make it more consistent.

In Duel Monsters saga as an example they removed all orichalcos arc and the final egyptian arc from base game. So i guess you get them with DLCs, the same thing also happens with the other anime sagas. The most complete one without DLC seems GX

You don't need the dlcs to get the story achievements. It only matters if you want to get all characters deck recipes, all characters challenges and full story (if you didn't seen the anime).
And the exclusive cards of course ;p

Well I saw the anime (up to 5D) but I would still like to play through all of it.
