Destroy spell/trap not working?

When I destroy a spell or trap card the opponent can still use them, how is that possible when I destroy that card? I don't understand that..

it's called chaining and quick play spells/traps can be chained, also some spell/traps have effects in gy

You seem to be unaware of negations and quick effects.

Cards like "Mystical Space Typhoon" (MST) and "Twin Twister" only destroy, not negate. Meaning if a card is targeted, but can still activatr it can, this is based on spell speed(if I recall).

Cards like "Magic Jammer" and "Cursed Seal of Forbidden Spell"negate.

DevPro is just a less practical, slower version of YGOPRO Percy. YGOPRO is automatic so there's less stupidity, but I've heard that some of the rulings on there aren't right. It's really up to you whether you prefer automatic or manual duels.


Both of them have links now, so there's less difference too.
