Rampart Blaster glitch

Elemental HERO Rampart Blaster seems to have a glitch in the way its effect works, notably that its effect sttates "Can attack while in face-up Defense Position, but only if your opponent controls no monsters." However, the game treats this as 'can atttack life points directly regardless of whether you have monsters on the field as long as Rampart Blaster is in face-up defense position.' I have 4 monsters on the field (in a burn deck, so none in attack) and I've just watched it atttack me three turns consecutively through my monsters.

No, because it was yesterday. None of my effects would have allowed him to attack, though, as the deck I was using is a control-heavy burn deck. I can say that there was a Level Limit Area B on my side of the field keeping him in defense, but his effect states very specifically that Rampart Blaster can only attack from defense position if there are NO monsters on the opponent's field - it doesn't specify position, just that there can be no monsters on the opponent's field. I had 3 on the field and Rampart Blaster was still attacking from defense position ignoring my monsters entirely and doing direct attacks right through my monsters.

or the ruling is the same in tcg but the card text is wrong

Text is probably wrong then and needs to be updated. There seem to be a couple of cards that don't exactly work as described, but meh. These guys seem to be of the variety that release a game and then do zero work on it once it's out. -Shrug-
