If you cant beat him with the story deck, create your own deck. Play hand destruction cards, crushcards etc. His challenge deck is even worse btw :D

Yes, Seeker is actually quite a dumb npc. When I let my brother play the game seeker added a gear golem to his hand but refused to set it on the field and instead let my brother attack him directly until he run out of points lol.

yes, not really hard, you need a good combo and otk.

tip: the master card is the field spell, focus on it and you can beat them so easy.

He never managed to get exodia against me. Usually played my own deck but even then it took long sometimes.

now playing evil hero deck and everything is pretty easy.

most o you seem 2 run everything in easymode...
when there is a given deck you do it with that one or resign.

n that yugi deck rly is pretty weak against seeker, like only 2-3 cards that beat 2200 def, n no discards hand steals or forced play at all.
so almost impossible to triger the 1 chain destruction in the deck.^^

any ways i managed to do it after another 30-40 tries.
rly the worse game of that campain.

The thing with Seeker is, his deck is not bad storymode, but the AI is braindead. Like the example I mentioned above where he refused to set monsters to defend himself. But you are right many of the storydecks are weak. I played every campaign duel with story decks and it took forever until I was done.

While its definetly possible to beat seeker (His AI really is stupid), its a real pain to try and take him on with yugi's deck. Mainly cause of all the stalling he does, swords of revealing lights, followed by mulitple draw cards, and finally when the Swords runs out, he just casts it again. And if I have anything on the field at all, he black holes it. It is a very frustrating duel.

But I shall continue to try, I will beat him (with yugi's deck).

It is hilarious when you consider that this early game duel is WAY harder than the supposed late game challenge version that only runs legal cards lol

Just run Robbin' Goblin with some direct attackers (to get around that 2200 DEF Fortress monster) watch those Exodia pieces fly away harmlessly. From what I remember, Seeker has no offensive monsters whatsoever, so your little direct attackers should be safe from counterattacks.

I just defeated him but I had to create a new Deck instead of using the story one (first time I had to do that).

Use 1900/1850 level 4 monsters. Put magic cards which can destroy Swords of Revealing Light (Harpy Feather Duster), Card Destruction to be able to destroy is hand, etc...

The problem with the story deck is Seeker seems to never play Exodia parts on the field, which he does in the anime/manga, so you can't use Chain Destruction.

They should have added Card Destruction and Exchange in the story Deck (which are cards he really have in the anime/manga).

But still, I'll try to defeat him with the story Deck but I guess it'll just be pure luck. Victory depend if you draw the card which can seal a card for four turns, which give you more times (I don't know how much of this card is in the Deck but they should have put three of them).

Finally managed to defeat him with the story Deck : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1581082760

What I did is to reset the game until I get a decent hand, but it also require that Seeker has bad luck when drawing the cards.

For example, you have to draw the tornado which destroy one magic card in your starting hand, to be sure to be able to destroy the first Sword of Revealing Light. If you don't have it, it's useless to continue.

Did you miss the episode of sesame street where they explain how to use a calender?
