mirror force killed my god card

i Had obelisk out and when i attacked the AI killed it with mirror force i thought that it wasn't possible for them to be killed by card effects was i wrong

In the show the God cards are unstoppable but in this version they can be destroyed. The text says it can't be targeted by affects however mirror force affects every monster in attack mode it has no specific target

That's one reason more varieties of mirror force were made to combat the specific problematic cards like majespecters and other cards that like to avoid destruction.

Cards such as drowning mirror force and other related cards are the ones to deal with that threat.
