Help building a magician deck.

So I have been at this for a while but I wanted to ask if anyone has some tips or must have cards for a magician deck.

Spellbooks can give you some nice support (Yuma pack in the shop) which if any is the main card you want to focus on? Field spells like secret village of the spellcasters can be very powerful too!

If it's a pure spellcaster build, use things like solidarity and magical dimension to summon spellcasters with ease and be able to destory a monster at the same time!

It is a pure spellcaster build, it focuses on Yugi's style. For example, Dark magician/Magician girl and the like.

Spell counters are too slow for the current format and not what the op is asking for. You can make them work but it's not going to be the best help to a build of this kind.


Cards you want to look at:

Summoners art

Ancient rules

Magical dimension

Dark magic attack

Solidarity (if all spellcasters)

Justi-break

I'll provide a full list if you want one.

Ultimately it will come down to you to make the plays and deck work :)
