Parasite Deck?

Hey, when I used to play Yu Gi Oh years ago there was this really cool Parasite? deck, and it was based around a deck seen on the show in the original series, where basically there was like a poison monster that you special summoned that your opponent then drew and it made all their poison monsters not attack or something, and you then used cards to make all their monsters poison type, and they couldn't remove that monster somehow.

Wondering if that deck/something similar is possible to make/import? Just got the game today and was looking forward to using it.

Sounds like Weevil's deck? You could make that I guess, but it was bad even for gen1 standards. Think he used Parasect Paracide and Insect Barrier(?)

You could try the new Buster Blader support. Buster Dragon makes all your opponent's monsters Dragon types, and Buster Blader himself gains attack for each Dragon on the field and in your opponent's grave. Just google like, 'Buster Blader deck 2016' if you're interested.

Here are some tips from the wiki on how to use this monster:

Set this card and use "Book of Taiyou" to put this card in your opponent's deck. Then use "Jade Insect Whistle" to put this card on top of your opponent's deck, so he/she will draw it next turn. After this, you have a few options:

Combine this with "Insect Barrier" to prevent all your opponent's monsters from attacking.

Combine this with "Eradicating Aerosol" to destroy all your opponent's face-up monsters.

Combine this with "Insect Princess" to have a card that powers up for every opponent's monster it destroys, or "Insect Queen" to have a monster that powers up for every opponent's
monster on the field.

Use "The Hunter with 7 Weapons" and choose "Insect" for a guaranteed boost.

"Drill Bug" is a card that can be used to put "Parasite Paracide" directly on top of your deck.

After this card is summoned to the opponent's field, "Mask of Restrict" or "Curse of the Circle" can prevent it from being Tributed. Additionally, "Owner's Seal", "Remove Brainwashing", "Creature Swap", or any other card that can take control of the opponent's "Parasite" can prevent the opponent from Tributing it while still causing all opponent's monsters to become Insects.


So yes, you could build a deck around it, but this sounds cumbersome to pull off, as it needs many components in its combo to really work. Not to mention, I don't think there is anything preventing your opponent from using the Parasite for Synchro or Xyz summons.
