[UPDATED] Uria & Trap Monsters 2017 deck
It took me some time to get all the cards but here it goes...
Thanks to thecardhub.net and ★ Skye ☆

I'll​ show you my Uria & Trap Monsters 2017 deck.

[MONSTERS]
  • x3 Uria, Lord of Searing Flames
    Your main. The more continuous traps you have on your graveyard, more powerful Uria becomes.
  • x3 Cardcar D
    It's very interesting having a draw power card like this one, especially in this kind of deck.

[TRAPS]
  • x3 Abyss Stungray
    Can't be destroyed by battle. This little punk is very precious and also has good stats (1900 ATK).
  • x3 Tiki Curse
    Good stats (1800 ATK) and if another trap monster battle an opponent monster, they monster is destroyed.
  • x3 Zoma the Spirit
    The monster who destroy it has its ATK transformed into damage to your opponent LP. Spam it!!
  • x2 Embodiment of Apothis
    1600/1800. Decent stats and that's it.
  • x3 Statue of Anguish Pattern
    Always put this guy first 'cause if you summon more trap monsters, you can target 1 card on the field and destroy it. VERY USEFUL, and VERY defensive. (0/2500).
  • x3 Metal Reflect Slime
    Ok, 3000 DEF is good for you or not? It can be used as material for a XYZ Summon too.
  • x3 Fiendish Chain
    People say it is trash but actually it is not since every game has a lot of effect monsters. It can save your ♥♥♥ from the meta.
  • x2 Imperial Custom
    All the trap cards in this deck is continuous, so guess what... All your trap monsters cannot be destroyed. (:
  • x3 Nightmare Wheel
    500 damage to your opponent while you don't summon Uria looks pretty good.

[SPELLS]
  • x3 Magic Planter
    Send 1 Continuous Trap you control and you draw 2 cards. Very good card for this deck.
  • x2 Mound of the Bound Creator
    So there you are. You summon Uria and it gets destroyed by Bottomless Trap Hole, Torrential Tribute or whatever. This card not only just protects your Sacred Beast from card effects as well it inflicts 1000 damage for every card Uria destroy. MUST have it in field before you summon him.
  • x2 Terraforming
    For searching the above card.
  • x2 Twin Twisters
    Similiar to MST, but you discard 1 card than destroy up to 2 Spell or Trap on the field. It's good because you can both pump up Uria and destroy annoying cards on the field. Works better for this deck.

[EXTRA]
  • x1 Superdreadnought Rail Canon Gustav Max
    Don't think twice if you're getting trouble to destroy cards which can't be destroyed by battle and you're out of Statue of Anguish Pattern. Summon it using Uria or Metal Reflect Slime and don't forget to use its effect: 2000 damage!
  • x1 Skypalace Gangaridai
    This card, like Gustav Max, can be summoned using 2 Level 10 monsters. It can target one opponent monsters and destroy and inflict 1000 damage.
  • x1 Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer
    This guys has 5000 ATK. If you're somehow getting countered or you're lucky and got 3 metal reflect slimes at once you should try summon it.

[SIDE]
  • x3 Curse of Darkness
    When you are facing some annoying spell-based. Remember to replace Spell cards once it damage both players.

Monsters = 6
Traps = 25
Spells = 9
Total of cards in main deck = 40

Try Twin Twister instead of Mystical Space Typhoon; lets you discard one of your traps.
Also try Mound of the Bound Creator. It'll help protect your Uria.

Once people catch on to what you're doing, they're just save Solemn Strikes for Uria. Good-luck.

Thank you! I did not thought using Twin Twister instead of MST and actually it makes more sense for this deck.
Mound of the Bound Creator looks to be very useful too. Should I replace Different Dimension Capsule with this?

You should, capsule is bad because it has to stay on the field; meaning it can just be destroyed. Mound of the Bound is protection for Uria, and you can destroy it yourself with Twin Twisters (or Galaxy Cyclone) to get your search.

Twin for discarding traps + general spell/trap removal. Galaxy Cyclone if you plan on destroying your own Mound.

Also, you NEED NEED Magic Planter for this deck; lets you destroy one of your face-up traps and you can draw cards. Card of Demise is also good, because it lets you draw three, then you just set your whole hand and you don't have to discard anything. I wouldn't use your deck without both of these, they add draw power and let you turbo through your deck.

Ah darn, I didn't know about that. I'm not too familiar w/ god cards. Mound is still helpful though, and with all the added draw power you should be able to get to Uria pretty easily.

No problem, man. Mound can be helpful though. I will use Twin Twisters and Magic Planter instead of MST and Different Dimension Capsule for sure.

Couple of additional cards that you could consider:


Booby Trap E (Normal Trap):

Discard 1 card; Set 1 Continuous Trap Card from your hand or Graveyard to your field. That Set card can be activated during this turn. (I figured this would be decent retrieval if needed.)


Five Brothers Explosion(Continous Trap):

When this card is activated: Gain 500 LP for each Continuous Spell/Trap Card you control. If this face-up card you control is sent to your Graveyard by your opponent's card effect: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each Continuous Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard. (This one doesn't just give you tons of life but could be an alternate win card for you!)

I've tried this Deck IRL.
It is SO fun to play with, especially with the Tiki Curse, *TRAP MONSTER IN ATTACK*, and Imperial Customs combo.

tried this bastion just couldnt do anything he had his dinos on the field and he kept drewing lv 4 monsters while metal reflect slime defended me and i won because of the nw dmg

In stead of Mound of the bound I tried Fallen Paradise and it worked better than mound especially scenes Draw power is the name of the game.
