Oh that sounds a lot better then expected, do I have to play all 5 in a row or can i spread them out?
Once you reach 5 you must retire your deck and any card you drafted will be added to your trunk. I have no idea where the 2000 dp and more comes from but i assume that's if you win just 1 battle and forfeit the rest.
Are the cards any different from normal packs? Is there any benefit to getting them over story unlocked card packs in the shop?
Confusion is natural, since no manual is available for this game
There are some cards that are exclusive to packs. This could be a place to get banned cards easier like pot of greed, graceful charity, etc. Check thecardhub.net to see what you can get.
But other than that this is a good place to play against real players fairly because each player drafts from the same card pool and it's entirely up to the player's skill to know what to pick.
I'm assuming that last part only applies to if you don't pick the pre-set deck option and choose the build your own option?
For sealed the game picks for you. So yeah you don't have much of a choice here but it's still fair, not all the cards are powerful enough or themed that one player has an advantage over the other.
According to thecardhub, there are no cards that are exclusive to battle packs. All cards from battle packs can be found in other packs from the card shop.
Well apparently you're right because the excel sheet i'm using wasn't updated. I just downloaded the excel sheet offered from the site and used it because it was faster. Turns out some cards like Lyla weren't included as info in packs. The info shows up in the draft pack but not in the character pack.
Maybe it could be console/pc version thingy, i doubt it.
