Oh Yubel. That duel isn't DLC. Don't let her destroy it in the first stage, that summons the higher level ones. It needs a tribute at the end of turns, so just wait until it has to tribute itself. Then field is open. It's not that hard, only took me once or twice and I'm a pretty average player.
-Use monsters immune to destruction.
-Banish/Return to hand, XYZs are a good toolkit.
-Use burn damage
-Attack for game before she even summons Yubel
In an alternative dimension, Yubel was human and Jaden was a prince of a particular kingdom. Yubel was Jaden's servant, but was also his beloved friend.
Seeing that a particular conflict were to happen (I'm pretty sure it's against the power of light), Yubel volunteered to protect her friend by undergoing surgery to become the beast she is today. Seeing the sacrifice Yubel made, Jaden vowed that he'll love no other being with the exception of her....
Then Jaden gets reincarnated to the Slifer Red duelist we see in the anime and Yubel gets to be a duel monster spirit/card....
There's also the part when he sent up cards he 'created' in a contest (Which is to be his Neo Spacians) in a space capsule (Don't remember the reason of doing so). His parents sent up Yubel with them due to the bad influence when Jaden interacts with his friends, usually causing them to be hospitalised after a duel against him (It's just Yubel's overprotectiveness of Jaden). At some point in space, the power of light(?) corrupts her so that's why she turned 'evil' or very yandere torwards Jaden.
If my recollection of that particular subbed anime episode(s) is correct that is.
The game doesn't explain it very well... xD!
Well, it is very dependent on outside sources such as the anime after all.
I also feel like it assumes that you already know the plot or have watched the anime/manga already to know the event that it's depicting, hence the little 'summaries' before the duel.
The game doesn't even cover all of the duels, just the 'major' ones anyways.
Personally, my way of solving it was using a user made deck built around Relinquished. Just take Yubel as equip and she is dealt with. Sure, Relinquished stays at 0 ATK, so in that case you need some other attackers to finish her off before she can re-summon another Yubel.
