using Utopia will be a key thing there. You want to get out XYZ monsters before he does, i will look at the story deck
Try to get the first turn then he can't do it :) Looking at the deck Yuma has there, you need to focus on mutiple XYZ summons and try not to play too many cards on your first turn, this is optimising your play, if the cpu uses their hand you can win much easier than if they have a hand. I would need more time to provide a detailed guide but slot in some cards that return to the hand and you won't regret it
x3 Right Arm of the Forbidden One
x3 Left Arm of the Forbidden One
x3 Right Leg of the Forbidden One
x3 Left Leg of the Forbidden One
x3 Exodia the Forbidden One
x3 Sangan
x3 Witch of the Black Forest
x3 Dark Hole
x3 Nightmare's Steelcage
x3 Swords of Revealing Light
x3 Upstart Goblin
x3 Pot of Duality
x3 One Day of Peace
x1 Pot of Greed
The Idea is to have a Defensive attitude with the Swords of Revealing Light and the Nightmare's Steelcages so you can collect faster the Exodia pieces with the Upstart Goblin, Pot of Duality, One Day of Peace and the Pot of Greed.
Also the One Day of Peace effect helps when you don't have any card on the field and the Adversary will not be able to hurt your LP for another turn.
Put the Sangan and Witch of the Black Forest in face-down Defense Position and wait for the Opponent to attack and destroy them, so you can pick another Exodia piece faster from your deck.
Also, you can flip face-up and attack a monster he controls in your turn, to search faster if you miss one piece.
Or, If you have 2 or 3 Sangans/Witchs you can use the Dark Hole to Finish the game in the same turn! ;-)
I am not sure if it will help but i did begin a tutorial series for all players, my understanding of the game is (not to sound pompus) excellent, and it's a special game clearly to almost all of us.
After you clear the story feel free to check it out when you build your first deck, it will help you get a good idea of what to do and why you should do it that way with whatever you ideas are, nice to see a fan enjoying the game inspite of all the problems we have encountered as players, many people on PC are just glad to see Yu-Gi-Oh! in current gen and really my heart does go out to them because they wanted to support the game in the correct way. All the best mate let me know how it goes, for referance don't feel bad it is a bit of a difficult duel and can take some attempts if you use the story deck. Can't always get the best draws :)
Mate if you enjoy playing it you play it until your hearts content, the competitive side don't worry about, many players can have amazing deck ideas and not be competitive. It's a shame actually I haven't seen more threads discussing things like that for example useful trap cards etc but yeah don't worry about that aspect unless you want to do it.
Fusion got tons of new support thanks to ARC-V which is a welcome boost as a fusion user myself of two flavours :) If you built the deck with your own hand it should be respected, as long as you are happy with it usually that is all that matters, for newer and to semi competitive players the taking part counts and it's nice to win but often it does not teach you alot about the game, You should always try to win but as you say you have fun with it so nobody can take that away from you, not even competitive players.
