Multiplayer?
The store page lists the game only as single-player, but in the description says it is co-op. Is the game co-op? Local? Online? Etc.

Can anyone who plays it confirm whether there's any form of multiplayer?

Unfortunately no multiplayer; would have been fun to play with friends.

The board game this is based on, is, of course multipler. And this version is pretty much identical. But nope, no multiplayer at all, which is shocking. I would have refunded for sure if I had discovered before my 2 hours were up that it was a solitare game.

Will multiplayer be added?

How would this in any way be fun to play in multiplayer, there are almost no significant choices to be made even when you control all of the characters yourself.. cant imagion how boring it would be to only control one of them.

Having played the original card game, it's more fun multi player

Blessings and multiple special abilites allow you to help or assist your teammate (albeit no a lot sometimes). And keep in mind, all the choices and decissions you make playing solo, are quite a bit different when you have to make them with several other players.

When I played the board game, convincing a player to take a risk or discard/banish cards so you could get that cool weapon/armor/spell was a big part of the game.

For example, when I played the cleric, I was the target of many pleas to give my blessing to them, instead of using them on myself. And also, players would sometimes argue over which ONE person I should help (you can't help everyone all the time).

Also, sometimes you have to banish cards to complete quests. No big deal solo? Try it multiplayer with nobody wanting to banish "their" cards.
