Q: Given the game in its current state, should I just go back to a previous mission or two, unload the Revelation Quill and Scrying (I think Augury works fine, but it's so limited!) in favor of more immediately useful cards, then...
...I dunno, spam the heck out of the level until the big bad just happens to be at the bottom, resigning every time I run into him early?
Without these tools, you have to rely on sheer luck that the villain happens to be shuffled to the bottom. I don't think I will try it again...
I ended up doing it with spying glass and augury spam. Augury to isolate the monsters and spying glass to move them around. It's annoying but it worked
So Augury works fine, spyglass is fine, but the quill and scrying don't.
I'm going to see if it happens on mobile as well - that might end up being the workaround if you don't want to do the augury spam route.
Then you just try to never encounter a blind card if you don't absolutely have to, using the scry toon to ONLY scry(their turn and others) and throw away the combat gear instead. You should be able to avoid any early encounters with the boss this way.
You are 100% right. Just had this issue. Bravo having the bug on the final adventure ...which NEEDS those items!!!!!!
