Don't I lose cards that i Banish?
Because I thought that whenever I banished a card that was on my deck, I'd lose it, for ever.
I remember using a Holy Candle with Kyra, Banishing it, and now on this second scenario I drew it again.. But it wasn't there when I had to choose cards from the collection after the ending of the first scenario.

Thanks

Cards that are banished no matter the method returns to your collection box. Nothing is permanently lost, ever.

The amount of one card that can be shuffled into the scenario depends on how many copies there are in your collection. This also applies when you're grabbing cards from the collection box because you need to fill your deck with missing cards. The game shuffles an amount of cards from the collection box MINUS the ones you already have in your current party.
For example: You have holy candle in one of your character's deck. You take that party to any scenario. You won't find any holy candles any more because you only have 1 copy of holy candle in your collection, minus the one in your deck, equals 0 holy candles can appear.
Another example: Your collection has 2 copies of Potion of Healing. You have 1 potion of healing in a party. You enter a scenario. 2-1= that's 1, quick maths, potion of healing may be found in your scenario/collection box.

Another reason why you didn't find the holy candle: Your adventure level is too low, only cards with the basic trait can appear when grabbing from the collection box.

I mean I had it, banished it, and now I don't have it anymore. Or can't find it. I've already gotten in in a previous scenario.

Thanks for the reply!

1st sentence in my post:

I think I should elaborate more. Any card that is banished returns to the box waiting for it to be found again. When a new scenario begins the game shuffles random cards from your box into the scenario Any card that goes up to your current adventure number can be found. It doesn't mean you will always find whatever you want, it's all up to chance and what the game shuffled, and it's your job to find out if the card you want got shuffled into the scenario.

Well I didn't know that there was a preset box of cards. It isn't my collection or is it? Or how do I check it or expand it?

Go to the main screen. It says Collection.
If you are in a game, hit the bottom left button to open the Menu and you should find that option there too. However if you do it while you're in a party you can only look at your current/previous completed scenario. If you do it in the main screen menu you can look at ALL cards you have collected so far.

In the original game, when banished, the card is removed from the campaign and set aside. This helps with the random distribution of new cards to stop bringing out the old basic cards as you get into higher levels/scenarios. Is this happening in the digital version too? I would hope it goes back into the collection so when you start a new party/campaign, the cycle will start again. Or are you just doing draws differently?

Yes-ish.

At AD3, the game starts randomly holding back some percentage of Basic cards, and it starts doing the same at AD5 for Elites. The percentage ramps up as you make progress, and by the time you're playing an AD6 scenario, there should be extremely few of either in circulation.

The deck alterations aren't permanent. If you were to go back to playing an AD2 scenario, all the appropriate basics will be available again for the game to deal.

The mechanism is a compromise between the tabletop rules to permanently remove cards from the game, and the digital ability to freely skip around playing different scenarios over and over again with the same party.
