First Eagles GOLD anyone?

I remember playing, way back when a title from Third Wire Called "First Eagles: The Great War 1918" and it's expansion (they also made "Cold War Gone Hot" available on Steam).
Anyone else play that game, and it's man, MANY mods?

This, while I'm looking forward to playing it as a relaxed break from "Rise of Flight", looks identical right down to the red and blue colouring of information text. I might be wrong, but any other "First Eagles" players...what do you think?

I didn't know about that game. Pretty cool from what I saw just now on youtube. I guess it didn't sell well or something.

It was one of those titles that many bought at the time from the Devs directly. It was fun in it's time, but the mods were far more interesting than the game itself.
Don't worry, I have a keen eye on your project and will no doubt pick it up ASAP.

Still play FE2 today. And Woff, but have given up on RoF since the last patch broke most of the planes, and then 777 abandoned its develpoment for BoS.

For the best FE experience make sure to go to combatace forums and dl some of the great mods available for it. FE for its sins still has damn good combat AI.

Yeah, the mods really made the game. Don't play without them.
