[potential spoiler]no kill cook?

is it okay to leave the cook stunned and he some how gets killed or is there a way to kill him while stunned and it not count as a human kill? cuz im currently at the point of the game here mikhaila gets her medicine and gets to morgans office ...just need to know

Do kill the cook count as a kill? Did you see that yourself through the stats of the game? Use a savegame before the kill and look for yourself. I am pretty sure it wont count as a kill since he will kill himself at later stage of the game (the spoiler is not for you but for anyone else who didnt finished the game once).

You can save him before he activates the grenade. All you have to do is quickly run in and disable the grenade then stun him and he'll be alive
You could also stun him before he locks you in the freezer

Are you sure about this? I always disable the grenade and he dies anyway for no obvious reason. Do you have to stun him *really* quickly?

You indeed have to stun him fast, but he will die again thanks to phantoms and other typhons who is walking there in later part of game.

Yeah he will die about few seconds if you dont stun him quick enough which is pretty odd. If there arent any phantoms or any other typhon he very well could be stunned the rest of the game

In my game, when he's in the Lifepod he'll die no matter what. Stunning him just causes him to die moments later, even if he never sees you at all. Defusing the Recycler Grenade just has him do a lengthy creepy laugh before dying as well.

Tried everything, even held off doing it until I'd upgraded my stun gun to have the max range possible, I think he's scripted to die as part of the quest ending. Never tried Mindjack or whatever though.

I guess the one thing I didn't try was seeing if he survives if you manage to not get the quest to kill him - it's possible the game automatically kills him for you so you can do a no kills run and still complete that quest? Danielle was clearly a developer favourite, so I can imagine them giving her special treatment by making her quest have a failsafe or something.

Maybe you get the quest regardless and it has nothing to do with Danielle at all that you get the quest to kill him, I dunno. Maybe someone can find out if he can live if you don't pick up the quest somehow, anyway. I guess that would mean avoiding picking up Abigail Foy's transcribe so you never find out where Danielle is - assuming you can bypass the Deep Storage lock without doing that, anyway. I don't think I ever have.

Weird. I tried my best to keep him alive lol. Oh well - not really going to lose any sleep over it.

Why are you trying to spare him? He is a scumbag and a murderer he deserves to die. Painfully.

kill him after he gives the code to tbe freezer. Then you won't ha e to deal with his annoying boobytraps

He swallows a poison pill when you approach the escape pod. Stun him as soon as you see him (before he swallows the pill), then disarm the trap if you want to keep him alive
