MIXED SIGNALS (SOLVED)

So it was really bothering me why I couldn't unlock this quest and eventual trophy *You Rang* for the longest time. I read a variety of solutions, but I'd like to add which one I believe is the most consistent.

If you don't already have your Typhon skills maxed out, buy 3 of them at the same time. Location shouldn't matter, but it may be easier in Talos Lobby. Defeat the Nightmare, and after a minute or two, January (if you haven't destroyed) should call you with the mission.

You need to hide from the nightmare, or have a few typhon mods installed when you kill it. It will never trigger if you always kill it while only having human mods.
