Save File Issue [Fixed]

So my steam cloud saves have overridden my normal saves and I have no idea how to fix it.
I was playing normally an hour ago, just looking for all the dead bodies before I move on with the main story (I've beaten Prey countless times on my PS4 and Steam), and my game randomly crashes.
It happens, so I just boot the game back up, but steam tells me theres an error with the steam cloud, and when the game launches I see my old saves that are from the cloud.
So I opened the arkane saved game folder, and see that my recent campaigns and saves are in it (my old campaigns have like 20 manual saves, but my recent campaigns have like 6 so I know it is the right one).
So I copy them to add them to my desktop (just in case), and turn off steam cloud in properties for Prey.
I go back to the arkane saved games folder and see that my recent campaigns are still there.
I boot the game up hoping that would have fixed it (it has fixed an issue for me in the past), and I still see the steam cloud saves there.
And I am kind of annoyed I do not want to restart my game as I have been like hella immersed and cannot play anything but.
Anyone know how I can force the game to use the Arkane saved games folder?

Okay I was only able to fix this issue because I just-in-case copied the game save folder.
But all I had to do was turn off cloud saving, then I had to remove all save files from the C:\Users\<name>\Saved Games\Arkane Studios\Prey
Then I launched the game, without any saves to find it told me to start a new game.
I closed the game, dragged ONLY the file I had copied before, which was literally the entire campaign save, and dropped it back in the prey folder
Still with cloud off, I was able to relaunch the game, and now I only saw my save file.

I am not sure if you did it in right order. Moving savefiles, disable cloud, start game.

???

Also, please use alineas. Or when on mobile, press 2 times at space.

I have done that yes, kind of. The save files in the arkane saved games folder are the exact ones i want to use, yet steam refuses to use those and only uses the cloud ones, regardless of being off or not

but i have tried removing the save files, moving them back, turning off cloud, then starting it up

It is actually: disable cloud > change savefiles > start game

And even when you did start the game, you can alt+tab to look again if the changed savefiles is still there. If not, you can change it again while the game is running (you need to close the load/saved gamelist). Not tested by myself but should work.
