In the actual game there is very little music during gameplay, I think it happens mostly in story moments or when you enter a completely new area. And maybe in a few cutscenes that there are in the game. As I remember it - most of the music is pretty mellow and pleasant.

No i dont recall this in game. And yes you're completely right in trashing and sending them off.
BUT its happening all the time on the radio, It made me not listening to radio even, but they are not send off to an island or trashed??
Are we the only ones that can sense that difference?

If I was to complain about sounds in this game I'd complain more about the sounds that play attached to triggers. There's a few places in the game that play a "horror noise" or begin to play ominous music, or just a random sound effect like a microphone being turned on, which you can trigger over and over by walking across an invisible line. When moving through the same area a bunch, these cues can start getting old fast.
Otherwise though no, at least in my opinion the music fits the game pretty well. Sad to say since it's a little geeky or whatever, but I actually had to rip Mind Games and set it as my alarm IRL lol, it's a pretty nifty track.
The OST to Prey is awesome.
