Prey
Game not compatible with analogue gaming keyboard (Razer Tartarus PRO)
I noticed that this game is pain to play using analogue feature of Tartarus PRO.
There is conflict with in game while using analogue buttons while walking and looking around with mouse and pointing at object that is interactible then analogue imput from buttons of Tartarus PRO are interrupted and are needed to be pressed again. Similar thing is when walking using analogue imput from Tartarus PRO and using zoom feature, imput from analogue button is interrupted and need to be pressed again to continue walking. Same when exiting zoom mode. It sucks.
It is unlikely for company like bethesda to fix this as they do not patch their older games which sucks even more. Bethesda :GHVomit:

Have you found many older games (pre-2018) to work with Razer's Optical Switches with their variable outputs? I imagine that substantial additional programming is required to work with something like that.
I just took a quick glimpse. The razer software translates or maps the analog keys to - for the PC - comprehensible input.
What functions did you map the analog keys for the movement to? Are you simulating an analog stick?
Some games do not support simultaneous input from controller and kb+m.

this is simply wrong its actually pretty easy
its the same as adding suport for analog sticks all the game has to do is accept the anlog input and the mouse at the same time

for some reason devs these days like to code there games to only accept one at a time and not be able to take both at the same time what causes these issues

far older games I find have a far better time with this as they dont really care what input your using and if your using 2 at the same time

im pretty sure the reason modern games dont let you do this is simply because they dont want to give players a mixed input option in settings and dont want to acidently give PC players aim assist because they left a xbox controler plugged in
I hope that thanx to Razer Tartarus PRO more developers will make games to be operated by analogue imput and KB+M combo.

- theHunter: Call of the Wild
- Generation Zero
Ah, so that keyboard's analog capability would probably not be supported in competitive FPSs to avoid aim assist stuff, right? Hmm, too bad. Analog movement along with mouse look would be nice.

In single player games where stealth is important and while using gamepad in such games we can gradually change movement speed and maintain noise.
For example theHunter: Call of the Wild have this mechanisc of noise vs movement speed which is almost non useable on normay digital imput that is only 0 or 1.
Analogue buttons are the future of PC gaming. Also important to compete with console gaming where ability to use analogue movement is crucial.

"XXXX is the future of XXXX gaming." has been a frequently untrue promise over the decades. We'll see what happens with this one.

(On, the other hand, I don't recall anyone saying 20 years ago that RGB would be the future of gaming, yet, those blinking lights are shockingly common. Hmm...)
Tartarus PRO is not only about analogue buttons. For every game it is just amazing as all buttons can be programmed to act like two buttons. Pressing key to for example 50% activates 1 bind and pressing 100% gives another button press. I found it very cool in many games that I play.
Also I always dreamed as PC gamer to have keyboard/gaming pad with analogue buttons!
Razer made my dreams come true :steamhappy:
