Random noise like dropping a sack of spanners

When playing Prey I reandomly hear what I can only describe as a bag of spanners dropping to the floor. I hear it only when moving and usually when there's nothing near me, so no containers etc or anything that would generate such a sound. It's annoying has hell.

I have this same problem, also doors activate when I'm nowhere near them. It's bit irritating.

Y'know, it could be a Mimic tricking you. Don't know about the doors though, never occured to me.

I'm trying to like Prey but it just fails on all fronts really. It's clear where its lofty goals lie, that would be System Shock 2 - but there's only one game that's anywhere near to the majesty of System Shock 2...and that's System Shock 2.
