One important tip! When you use a recycler charge as a regular grenade, and there is a body of one of the crew members in the blast radius, the bidy will be transformed into organic material and all the loot is lost! Additonally, you can't find the body via the security station tracking and the correspondic quest if you try bugs out. So, be careful with them in new enviroments.
Yeap, nothing beats spending half an hour collecting stuff to throw a recycle grenade at
Even if your're careful the named phantoms like to glitch into walls so you'll definitely miss out on some quests and stuff whatever you do. You're doomed.

They cannot be opened, you have to use the shown mimic skill to get through.
Yep, those doors
bummer
thanks for info!
Which is why you need to garher for half an hour
Different items produce different amounts of resources based on what they were.
Try piling up destroyed operators into a big pile. Those are made of metal. There are a ton of them located in the main bay of the Hardware Labs (some past a crate you need to use recycler charges on).
And you did spend neuromods on "Increased Recycling Yield", didn't you? (I don't think that helps with Recycler grenades, but it does with the standard recyclers.) Recycle extra weapons you don't need. There are lots of extra guns and wrenches around you can convert into metal in the recyclers. That's only a worry if you have enabled the "Weapon Degradation" survival mode toggle.
