Using mindjack to free people from mind control...

Has anyone done this, and when you do does it knock them unconscious, or leave them standing in a normal state?

It leaves them unconsious but alive and not as enemies.

Thanks for the info. I've always wanted to see if it's possible to talk to the mind controlled guy in the medical bay. But it sems it isn't possible.

Well there was a quest to free someone from mind control that required me to return to an area and talk to them after they wake up. I didnt really check since i havent had the chance to return to them yet lol. Same with the guy in the med labs i freed him and havent had the chance to return and check up on him yet :P.

I've found that any method of knocking out mind controlled humans (mindjack, stun gun, killing the telepath) causes the person to show as "safe" on the security terminals.

I think unless they are an NPC linked to a quest they just vanish once you leave the area. Still it will be nice to save him, rather than see his head explode again (that was a bit surprise the first time!).
